Kohlrabi

Kohlrabi is my favourite vegetable. You cannot screw it up.

Eat it raw

Peel first. Cut it into sticks, wedges, or grate it. Eat it with oil and salt. Put it in a salad. Make a salad with it. Especially good with ranch dressing. Tastes refreshing.

Roast it

Peel first. Cut it into sticks or wedges. Coat in oil, salt & pepper. Roast at 450 until a fork slides into it easily, about 20 minutes. Roasts up quicker than most vegetables so in a mix, cut it into thick wedges. Can be left a little crunchy and still delicious. Tastes sweet and explosively juicy.

Fry it

Peel first. Cut it into wedges, cubes, flakes, whatever. Fry it until soft. Cooks faster than cabbage but similar.

Steam it

Peel first. Cut it into wedges, cubes, flakes, whatever. Steam until you can stick a fork into it smoothly. Smother in butter or oil and a bit of salt.
